Journey On Relaxation
Oh what a wonderful experience. I am a big fan of relaxation audio! This one in particular discusses Autogenic Training - a technique used to induce the relaxation reponse and is based on our ability (yes we all have it!) to suggest certain states of mind and physicality in order to become those states - having the ability to make any part of our bodies comfortable via the redirection of blood flow which can also provide relief from minor discomfort or pain if practiced regularly. I shall be looking for some of my CD's packed away since my move. Anyone have a really good relaxation CD to recommend? Let's take a look at our stores and send around some informaiton in this regard! Have wonderful evening! Kathleen

Here is one too obvious but it is good for relaxation, meditation, and as sleep music. Yes, it is "The Best of Relaxation" currently on sale at Target for $19.95. It is a three CD set. There is a good mix of music. If anyone is more nature centered I can highly recommend Wolf Jazz. I find it completely calming and uplifting (but I also enjoy canines). My husband dislikes it, as it simply sounds like howling dogs to him (there is saxophone and he is not a canine person). "One-size" does not fit all in my household.
I don't have any specific CD titles; however, I like to listen to the sounds of nature such as the dolphins, whales, birds, or the rainforest for relaxation. These CD's can usually be found at stores such as Walmart.
